Brand Blocks

Here is your opportunity to have your name and brand engraved on a 12 x 12 paver block to be placed in the walkway at the entrance to the MetraPark Arena in Billings, Montana. The walkway will be adjacent to the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame Monument Site with the focal point of the site, an impressive 18’ high bronze statue of world champion Dan Mortensen riding Tee Box. An adjacent curved brick and granite wall contains the names of Montana’s rodeo champions and legends.

Brands have long been a historical trademark of family ranches across Montana and display identity and prestige. Sales of the brand block will fund the construction of a new wall which will feature newly inducted Montana Pro Rodeo cowboys and cowgirls including those who have qualified for the National Finals Rodeo, Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit champions, rodeo legends, Miss Rodeo Montana Queens, Stock Contractors, and Personnel. Construction is to begin the summer of 2007, and will be mostly completed by donated labor and materials.

After expenses of the wall are covered, proceeds of the brand block sales will be diverted to Montana high school rodeo athletes in the form of academic scholarships. The first annual Cowboy and Cowgirl Reunion fundraiser provided ten $3,000 scholarships in 2006 and twelve in 2007 to worthy Montana high school rodeo athletes.

The walkway will span from the monument site to the west entrance door of MetraPark. The block pavers will be viewed year-round and guaranteed for life. Put your brand in front of a wide audience in perpetuity for only $300, which includes cost of the block, engraving and placement.
