The Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame is a non-profit Montana 501(c)(3) corporation*. It is dedicated to honoring Montana professional rodeo cowboys and cowgirls who exemplify our Montana western heritage. This is done through the maintenance of a monument site located near the entrance to the MetraPark Arena in Billings, Montana. The monument site includes an 18' bronze sculpture of six-time World Champion bronc rider Dan Mortensen and a brick and granite wall which names Montana's professional rodeo champions.

The "Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame Scholarship" was established to benefit Montana youth who participate in high school rodeo and wish to further their education. These scholarships are primarily funded by the sale of replica bronzes, contributions, and proceeds from the Annual Cowboy & Cowgirl Reunion fundraiser, held the fourth Saturday in January. The first annual fundraiser netted sufficient funds to provide ten $3,000.00 scholarships to worthy recipients. The second annual fundraiser was even more successful, providing twelve $3,000.00 scholarships. More information on this program is available at the Scholarship link. Plans are in full swing to build and additional brick and granite wall listing the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Champions, Montana Pro Rodeo competitors who have ever qualified for the National Finals Rodeo, Montana Pro Rodeo Queens, Montana Rodeo Committees and Personnel. The new wall will be funded by the sale of granite walkway pavers engraved with Montana ranch brands. These pavers can be purchased by anyone wishing to have their brand displayed in perpetuity from the monument site to the entrance of Metra Park Arena. l For more information, call 406-256-6515.
